I LOVE your blog. I will be bookmarking it and passing it on to my Yahoo group of lesbian moms – they will LOVE it!
Where I live I am the only lesbian Lactation Consultant – which is lonely. I also don’t know many other lesbian couples with kids my kids ages…the ones I know are typically my clients and they, of course, have babies. I Love working with them…the dynamics between two women and their children is different from the straight world. I lived in the straight world for 34 yrs…so I know a thing or two about it.
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for your contribution…your thoughts…your insights. They are wonderful!

I was wondering if I could have your permission to give copies of your piece on Breastfeeding: Radical, Feminist and Good for You to my Women’s Studies students. I don’t think they’ll necessarily hear this in their other classes, and it’s important!
